One quick announcement before this quarter’s update:

Treasure Adventure World BETA will debut at the Halloween Game Expo in NYC!

Treasure Adventure World has been in beta for over a month and as you’ll see in the update below we’ve been focusing on balancing, bug fixing and the like. That’s why I’m very excited to be able to bring the latest beta build of the game to the Halloween Game Expo courtesy of Playcrafting NYC. These events are a great way to do additional playtesting and it’s also just nice to get to socialize with gamers and other devs. I hope you’ll check it out if you’re in the NYC area!

Road Map Update – Summer 2017

Before we start this quarter’s update we are excited to announce that:

Treasure Adventure World will be coming to GOG!

Treasure Adventure Game has been available for free on GOG since 2011. There’s no doubt that without GOG we never would made it this far. Most of the fans I meet tell me they found our game on GOG and even Chucklefish (our publisher) contacted us after seeing our game on the service. We are very happy to be continuing our relationship with the fine folks at GOG and will have some more exciting announcements about this soon.

Road Map Update – Spring 2017

We’re back with another Road-Map update for you. A lot of exciting stuff is going on with Treasure Adventure World right now and I’m happy to share some of what we’ve been up to.

Before moving on to the road-map I want to thank our publisher, Chucklefish Games, for hosting us in London for EGX Rezzed. It was a fantastic opportunity for us and we were in great company all weekend.

As we’re inching ever closer to “content complete” we’ve also taken some time to polish assets we weren’t happy  with. As part of this polish work we “renovated” the art for UI, menus and title screen – including an updated logo!

Our title screen is still a work-in-progress, but the logo is finished!

Robit Devs #5 – A New Level from Scratch

Design & Development | Video 1 1 Comment

Treasure Adventure World is getting close to beta and I thought now would be a good time to share a bit of my process when it comes to designing a level of the game from scratch. As you’ll see in the video, this level was not originally in Treasure Adventure Game. It features a new power-up, a new mechanic and a cameo from a beloved character (not revealed). This could be considered spoilers, so watch as your own risk.
