Progress Report – June 2015

We’re living in a post-demo world now which means we’re back to adding content and building levels. This is my favorite part of development and I’m excited to show you what we’ve been working on this past month.

Christine is working on NPCs, enemies and other assets for the Jungle and Crystal Cave and Mine-cart levels, including this frog-baddie:

Speaking of mine-carts, I’ve been coding and building the mine-cart levels and even though this still has some work left I want to show you a tiny bit of how this sequence is shaping up.

I’ve also been building the interior levels of the Jungle/Crystal Caves this month. These are some of my favorite levels in the game both aesthetically and game-play-wise. This clip shows a bit of the River Cave that takes you deeper down into the caves.

And another favorite mechanic of mine, the bomb-cannon has been coded. We also have plans on using the cannon in another new level that wasn’t in TAG.

    Good to see you back. Is it only me or this minecart video is cutting/freezing itself? And btw: Is bird-women in background the person from top of Jungle?

      I believe thats who she is. I believe she is also the one who the statue is of in the Tenerife temple.
