Reddit brought me here.
cool!
Awww, no Linux/Mac OS support? Kinda laggy on my Windows system..
The initial release will be Windows only but we will be looking to port to Linux after that. Would love to get TAW running on the Steam Machines.
In re: to lag, what are your CPU & GPU specs? There’s still some optimization that needs to be done for the final release and I’m going to include an option to turn down some effects. Also, did you try running the game at a lower resolution? That should speed it up.
No Mac? You’re doing it WRONG.
The world doesn’t revolve around Mac. Based on what I’ve seen, I’d say he’s doing it right.
Where can we report bugs? Here’s one in the mean time:

It’s hard to tell from just the pic, but the hero is swinging back and forth on a hook while playing the dig animation. I wasn’t able to get him to let go of the hook either, so I just exited the game.
Thanks for sending that screen shot. It’s very helpful. Here’s a form you can fill out for future bug reports:

Such a sweet game! Great art style, music, gameplay and even the puzzles were fantastic. + I got the adventure hat

It ran very slow on mine as well which I wasn’t expecting, but my computer is pretty bad (AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.00GHz, 6GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4200 built-in, at 1024×768). I also ran into a couple bugs, one, when I reloaded, the gates you open with the parrot relocked (had to reload again, can’t remember if I used the other loading option), and twice the smaller block near the end of that large puzzle didn’t fall right (one was when I moved it on top of the large block and it kind of “stuck” and eventually fell when I moved the large block and was heading back to try to push it, the other was I couldn’t get it to fall next the other smaller one, it just acted like there wasn’t a space for it when you block the spikes). Don’t have the saves for those anymore, unfortunately.
Oh yeah, I also totally blanked what to do after giving Granny the message (despite having beaten the game when it came out!). I guess the ship was on the left shore but I just headed in the other direction, oblivious until I couldn’t figure out what to do with the shovel. That was a weird “idiot tester” moment!
